En un esfuerzo conjunto por robustecer la Educación Media Técnico Profesional (EMTP) en la región, la empresa sanitaria Essbio y la ONG Educando en Red oficializaron el lanzamiento del Programa AQUA. Este proyecto de vinculación nace con el objetivo de colaborar activamente en el fortalecimiento de las competencias de los futuros egresados de la especialidad de Instalaciones Sanitarias, reconociendo su rol crucial en la operación de infraestructura, la calidad del agua y la seguridad sanitaria. El programa, que actualmente beneficia a los estudiantes de 3° medio del Colegio Concepción Los Acacios, responde a la necesidad de alinear la formación académica con los requerimientos reales de la industria, garantizando así técnicos de nivel medio altamente capacitados para los desafíos del sector. Una alianza estratégica con valor compartido La colaboración entre el sector privado y las organizaciones educativas es fundamental para el desarrollo sostenible. Peter Schmohl Becker, Gerente Regional de Essbio, enfatizó la importancia de esta iniciativa dentro de los objetivos corporativos de la sanitaria: “Es un programa que para Essbio, desde el punto de vista del vínculo, representa seguir trabajando en los pilares fundamentales de nuestra estrategia, particularmente en la formación de jóvenes, en el desarrollo con la sociedad y establecer aspectos también de cuidado del entorno”. Metodología y actividades del Programa AQUA El modelo de intervención diseñado por Educando en Red y Essbio contempla una ruta de aprendizaje integral. Esta incluye capacitación en plataforma sobre capacidades sociolaborales e inserción laboral, complementada con talleres lúdicos presenciales dirigidos por equipos profesionales para reforzar los contenidos digitales. Además, el programa posee un fuerte componente práctico y de terreno. Alberto Pillado Melzer, Director Ejecutivo de Educando en Red, detalló el itinerario formativo de esta primera versión: “En esta primera versión, el programa aborda una capacitación en habilidades sociolaborales a través de una plataforma educativa complementada con talleres presenciales. Además, busca fortalecer competencias técnicas a través de talleres específicos que Essbio definirá como relevantes. Esto incluye una visita a ‘La Mochita’ de Essbio, donde conocerán in situ el proceso de purificación del agua, y finalizaremos con un gran seminario donde profesionales de la empresa expondrán temáticas relevantes para los jóvenes de la especialidad”. Impacto en la comunidad escolar Para la comunidad educativa del Colegio Concepción Los Acacios, ser los pioneros en esta iniciativa representa una oportunidad significativa para mejorar el perfil de egreso de sus estudiantes. Eduardo Mosso Chamorro, Rector del establecimiento, valoró la integralidad del programa: “Sin duda es una herramienta muy valiosa para la formación de los chicos y chicas. Este programa les va a permitir el desarrollo de sus competencias no solamente técnicas, sino de sus competencias sociolaborales, que son tremendamente importantes hoy día en la formación de las personas y en el requerimiento que hace la industria del siglo XXI”.
